Current news, events, and information about the Senior Citizens Movement

FROM THE BULLETIN BOARD

  • Please note that we have added a new section to the website entitled “Citizens’ Watch”.  There you will find news about a variety of unconstitutional and/or corrupt actions that have taken or are now taking place under the current administration.  Such actions are of immediate concern for all citizens.  Look for a new report each month.
  • SCFA is now engaged in a broad recruitment effort and invites all senior citizens to join the movement.  See the GET INVOLVED page
  • SCFA has begun its campaign to get 1,000,000 seniors to affirm their agreement with “A Promise to Future Generations”.  See the PROMISE call button on the home page. Click on the “Promise” button and you will be taken to the words of the Promise itself.  If you agree with the Promise, click on the word “HERE” and your vote will be added to the growing number of affirmations that have already been made.
  • See our Strategic Plan for 2026 at the end of the ABOUT US section.

  • As set forth in our April Newsletter, we are initiating an informational, interactive campaign running up to the November midterm elections.  The campaign is called   Protecting our Constitutional Democracy: The issues that are inspiring Americans to oppose an autocratic President and change the complacent Congress that has enabled him.

  • Throughout this period, we will be focusing on the relationship between older voters and younger voters.  Watch for additional information in coming special bulletins.
